Welcoming Dr. Mark Currie
An appointment with a medical oncologist is usually the first stop on
the road to cancer care. Now you can make that stop with New River Valley Cancer Care Center.
Medical oncology services are once again being offered close to home at NRVCCC, with the addition of Mark S. Currie, M.D., to Pulaski Community Hospitals medical staff. Along with radiation oncology services, the center will now provide medical oncology services, including chemotherapy.
A member of Lewis-Gale Hematology/Oncology, Dr. Currie will work with you to create a treatment plan specific to your individual needs. He will also serve as the coordinator of your entire cancer treatment team, keeping track of various tests results and follow-up exams performed by other specialists.
Dr. Currie sees patients on Tuesdays at his NRVCCC office. To schedule an appointment, ask your physician for a referral or contact Dr. Curries office at 540-772-3411, or toll-free at 800-422-4286.
